Bioplastics: Our Sustainable Future
I will present research on how to address the biggest challenge we are facing right now, i.e. climate change. The main cause for climate change is CO2 emissions. Most of the plastic industries uses fossil-based resources, which produces large amount CO2. This goes directly into to the environment. However, we can’t deny how useful plastic is, so in order to continue using plastic, we need to replace these fossil based resources with bio-based alternatives which will reduce CO2 emissions. I make bioplastics, and I will talk about how our future can be green and sustainable with bio-based products.
