Prosumer energy systems
Creating sustainable energy systems requires dramatic transformations in how we make and use energy. Nelson Sommerfeldt is a Researcher at KTH’s Department of Energy Technology working with technical, economic, and social aspects of prosumer energy systems.
Prosumers are consumers that also produce energy and is a completely new type of stakeholder in the energy system. Nelson’s work starts with systems analysis to identify technological solutions with high market potential and is now building tools to help future prosumers make the best choices for their buildings.
