    Water’s double personality

    ​​​​​​Water is the most abundant liquid on the planet and is the key for life on Earth. However, whilst common, it is far from simple and still holds many mysteries. For example, we have not fully answered why ice floats on water. By studying water’s structure, we have come to understand that its unusual behaviour might be a case of double ‘personality’.
