On 10 October, the national heat of the 2025 Researchers’ Grand Prix will take place during SciFest in Uppsala.
Five researchers from across Sweden will be competing for a place in the national final to be held at Kulturhuset on 18 November in Stockholm.
As part of the audience, you can help decide who makes it through! Anyone wishing to attend the national heat on 10 October at 13:30–15:00 CET, can book a place via the Scifest website.

- Georgios Varotsis, Researcher in Epidemiology, Uppsala University
- Laura García Romañach, Researcher in Forest Sciences, SLU
- Sofia Hallerbäck, Researcher in Risk and Environmental Studies, Karlstad University
NB Two presentations will be held in English and three in Swedish.
